What is the cost for this event?
There is no cost to attend.  This event is free, however our budget for putting this on is in excess of $20,000 and we meet these costs through donations beforehand.  We would appreciate your prayerful consideration of how God would lead you to participate.

Who is organizing Faith Lift?
Faith Lift is a non-denominational event as we are not affiliated with any denomination, group or religious organization.

We want to see the Body of Christ come together in unity on behalf of America, Texas, the Rio Grande Valley and Mexico and the generations to come. We desire that every age, gender, race and denomination would respond to this call to massive prayer, fasting and repentance.

Who will be the guest speaker?

Our goal is to motivate people to come pray, worship and repent before the Lord and not necessarily come because of a famous Preacher, Teacher, Prophet or Apostle or Evangelist.  For this reason, Guest Speakers will be unannounced.  We desire that the masses will come because they want to join thousands in Prayer for the Rio Grande Valley and America.

Why do we need a “Faith Lift”?
As in the book of Joel, our nation is in a spiritual drought.  Every area of society has been touched by this famine; the school system, our court system, the government, our homes and especially the church.  Many of the things that have been exposed in the church are just warning signs for us to awake, fast and pray.  We are in desperate times and desperate times call for drastic measures.  We must consecrate ourselves once again to repentance, purity and holiness as individuals and as the whole body of Christ.

Why can't we just stay home and pray?
As demonstrated in scripture, timing and location are very important. There is a time to stay home and pray but there is also a time to respond corporately to the invitation of the Lord. Throughout scripture, there are times of national crisis where everyone gathered to seek the Lord as an expression of sincere repentance and dependence on God.

Will there be a Special Singer or Worship Band?

Our desire is to concentrate on God and his presence.  Neither the Special Singers or the Bands will be advertised as a draw for people.  We desire that the masses will come because they want to join thousands in Prayer, Fasting and repentance.

places to distribute and post flyers/posters: Churches, Youth Groups, Christian book stores, Christian High Schools, Coffee

  Houses, Music Stores and Universities)

* Write about us in your blog, place banner ads and articles on your site.

Is this a youth gathering?
Many youth will be attending, but Faith Lift is for every generation to respond in the spirit of Joel 2:16 as well as Malachi 4:6, turning the hearts of fathers to children and children to their fathers.

Are children allowed to attend?
Most definitely! We highly recommend that you bring your children and their friends. In Joel 2 all ages were summoned to attend the sacred assembly. However, there will not be childcare provided so we ask that you take full responsibility for the children that you bring.

What is the schedule for the evening?
We desire to make room for the Lord to move powerfully among us so we are planning to keep the evening as free of agendas as possible.  We will have intervals of worship, corporate times of prayer, individual prayer, as well as prayers lead by local Pastors and Spiritual Elders of the Rio Grande Valley.
